About Me
I grew up wanting to sing and act. I also grew up being told that was not realistic and to forget about my dreams. I tried for over three decades to be what people wanted me to be. I studied the women around me; how they acted, how they reacted, their body language. My life was one long play about how to be a woman.
In 2005, I was in an unhealthy marriage with a one year old son. This began the journey of acknowledging my sexual orientation. And for the next 12 years, I lived as a lesbian.
I entered a healthier marriage, but six years in I was depressed. I once again had to take a hard look at myself. This began my process of transitioning from female to male. Beginning the social and medical transition, and working through the deeper depression that resulted, has been the hardest work I have ever done. I can now see that it was also the most rewarding.
With a new found confidence, I launched my acting career in 2019, taking classes at AMAW Studios, Los Angeles. My biggest passions in life and acting circle around telling stories that raise awareness, challenge perceptions, and inspire others to live authentically.
